My Story
You may find yourself wondering, “ Rebecca, how do you understand these experiences?”, and that’s a valid question. My perspective comes not only from my professional training, but also from my own personal journey.
During my time in college, I became increasingly aware of the impact that social standards and expectations can have on how we see ourselves, especially when it comes to appearance, identity, and self-worth. That period of my life was a turning point, where I realized I had to choose which “hard” I wanted to face. Continuing patterns that were not serving me, or making healthier choices that required a different kind of effort and intention.
As I began working in the mental health field, I was able to build on that personal awareness through education and experience. I developed a deeper understanding of the stressors, challenges, and internal struggles that can impact growth and self-perception.
Through this process, I shifted how I viewed my relationship with food, my body image, and my mindset. I moved away from the pressure of external expectations and toward a more grounded understanding of what I truly needed for myself.
At Mindful Clarity, I bring that same level of care and attention to each individual I work with. My focus is on supporting you in understanding your experiences, strengthening your self-worth, and building a more balanced and sustainable way forward.
